Habitat:

Variable habitat in Southeastern US and Bahamas. Parks, gardens, wooded areas and hammocks. Host plant: Aristolochia species.

Notes:

Found numerous caterpillars on a Brazilian Dutchman's Pipe (Aristolochia gigantea) in the butterfly and hummingbird garden area of this park. There were a few different stages seen such as very tiny newly hatched (photo 4) and even eggs (photo 5). See host plant in this spotting: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/106...
