Variable habitat in Southeastern US and Bahamas. Parks, gardens, wooded areas and hammocks. Host plant: Aristolochia species.
Found numerous caterpillars on a Brazilian Dutchman's Pipe (Aristolochia gigantea) in the butterfly and hummingbird garden area of this park.
