Description:

Fuzzy caterpillar with horizontal yellow and black striping, black head. I've seen this one here in the butterfly bush and another in an oak tree.

I'm leaning towards your second link... D. perspicua. This one didn't have the orange band on the neck that D. contracta has. I am definitely no expert in this field, so I'll reference the link in the notes, but it looks like datana has a lot of options, D. angusii looks similar too.

It could also be something else in the genus. But it's too close to call for me!
