Description:

Great hair do. Attracted to night lights at the local school this super hairy moth had about 40mm wingspan.

Habitat:

Drawn to lights at the local school.

Notes:

Also called Euproctis marginalis. Caterpillars feed nocturnally on gum trees. Found in the eastern half of Australia including Tasmania.
