Tangle Web Spider

Description:

A skinny green spider. Theridiidae spider - best family ID so far. Body length about 6mm. Long green legs, orange abdomen with yellow dots and brown wavy lines. It's 8 eyes are arranged in two rows, the 2 eyes at each end of the rows are joined together such that from far away one could think that this spider has only 6 eyes.

Habitat:

Lives on this plant in Kinabalu Park, Kundasang, Sabah.

Notes:

This is one of the most unique spiders that I have ever seen and photographed. I believe it is rare as I have not yet seen another individual of the same species until now. >>>Map accuracy : 1km diameter.
