Bluebirds (newborns)

This was either Bluebird babies or Tree Swallow babies.....it's hard to tell, but I think they were bluebirds.

thanks Karen! These are from last year's nesting season. We had a couple late cold spells last year so they didn't start nesting till pretty late. I checked the bird boxes for the first time this year yesterday....already had eggs in several boxes. No live young yet.

Lovely! I've had 14 bluebirds successfully fledge from 3 boxes over the last couple of weeks - It's so wonderful to watch them develop!
