Marine Isopod

Pentidotea sp.

Description:

About an inch long with about 7 sets of legs and two large antennae. It has a carapace like a lobster.

Habitat:

Saltwater, tide pool.

Notes:

I was rolling rocks along this beach and discovered two of these little creatures.

It does look similar, but it lives in saltwater. I don't know of any marine isopods, but maybe that's the family.
