Description:

This tree can grow to 100 - 120 feet tall. An aquatic, needle leafed evergreen that has "knees" (image 2), and has a wide d crown that is flat at the top. Gray to brown bark is rough. Needles are deciduous.

Habitat:

Wet aquatic situations with roots often submerged in water.
