These birds look a bit like flying fish! Seen in the Pumicestone Passage south of the Sunshine Coast. Thanks to Emma for the ID.

Thanks Emma! I've added a couple of other pics from a location further down the river - I think it's the same species but they're picking through the mud instead of flying.
