Macleay's Swallowtail

Description:

Macleay's Swallowtail is a beautiful emerald green butterfly with broad brown wing margins and long tails on the hindwings.

Habitat:

This one was drinking , from puddles from recent morning rain , was very slow , i thought injured or old , but eventually it took off.

Oh Mark ...they are truly beautiful ...very quick and hard to photograph as they don't stop ....i done some research , checked plants in my books ...tracked them down ..and these are my first ever ...am i making you proud , how much i am learning ... :)
