Black Bear

Ursus americanus

Description:

I was lucky to see a Black bear in Yellowstone. This one was searching for food in a pine forest, walking a few steps and stopping, and then again. It didn't pay much attettion to about a 50 people like me who parked to get some photos from about 60 meters away. There was a Park Ranger keeping people to a safe distance from the bear.

Habitat:

Pine forest.
