Green Anole

Anolis carolinensis

Description:

Light green with slightly darker spots along the back. Length: about 4-4 1/2 inches.

Habitat:

On a palm leaf in a swampy area. Forest made up of Cypress and Palm trees and plenty of ferns.

Notes:

Also commonly called the Carolina Anole. Located at Highlands Hammock State Park, Sebring, FL along the Fern Garden Trail.
