Rough Green Snake

Opheodrys aestivus

Description:

This fella was hanging head first from a bush looking for dinner. He was very calm and not aggressive at all. He escaped into the trees, which is where he seems most comfortable. My 2 yr old nephew was ecstatic! :) 2.5-3ft long. No more than .5 in. in diameter.

Habitat:

He seems most at home in the bushes and trees here in North Georgia, which is where he was found and where he escaped to.
