Great Crested Flycatcher

Myiarchus crinitus

Description:

Brownish Grey and yellow belly

Notes:

Seen at 12:07 PM EST. There was a flock of these birds that landed on a tree outside the office right after a light rain shower. One caught my attention by flying into the window. I heard a loud " THUD" and when I looked out there was about 30 of these birds. I am assuming it was attracted to the snakes in the stained glass. Caduceus hanging in the window. Four others crashed into the window within 15 minutes. It didn't understand the reason behind their persistance until I read on Wikipedia that they preferred snakeskin in their nests. What a high maintenance breed! LOL.
