karenL - mystery solved very fast: i'm also german and i know what he wanted to write: On his other spotting of this same specimen he wrote---> "flanze" which should spelled "pflanze". A "pflanze" is "translated in english "plant". therefore this is a plant, no fungi/lichen or myxomycota (slime mold). And btw, i still have my spotting posted here (and they will maybe still stand for a while), but actually i'm no longer an active member of pn. I have and will further post my spots on my fb-site (alex's myco-zoo), untill i find something better. I will look by sometimes and for you, i wanted to answer your request quick, but i no longer want to bother with pn. Thx for your nice words, but i still Want to become an expert, which i would not reach here.
Hi cevik & welcome to Project Noah! I have asked Alex Konig who is a member of our community that is an expert on lichens & slime molds to take a look at this for you & hopefully he will be able to identify the species. Please can you combine this with the other spotting you've shared of the same species - you can add up to 6 photos of the same organism per spotting. Thanks!
