Cannonball Tree

Couroupita guianensis

Description:

This tree is beautiful! Around 15m high. The base of the trunk was bark only, then for the next 2 metres going up were clumps of these beautiful flowers on long stems. I'm sorry my hort. studies were years ago so I cant remember what you call the structure. I've added a picture of the leaves too in hope that someone may ID it.

Habitat:

Township of Sarina.
