Description:

This deciduous tree is often 60 feet tall and spreads out with multiple trunks. It is the only maple tree with three leaflets and as many as seven.

Notes:

To me, the leaves look similar in pattern to that of poison ivy, but clearly is not when you see the v-shaped fruit.
