Lophosaurus boydii
These lizards average lengths between 14 - 16 cm, from the snout to the base of the tail; the tails are about twice as long as the body. Usually brown or grey cryptic coloration, sometimes with green areas. Bodies are laterally compressed with a crest of spines running from the head down the back to the base of the tail.
This species is restricted to the rainforests of northern Queensland in north eastern Australia, where they can be seen perched on tree trunks.
