Moon snail

Description:

He was eating. They eat by sneaking on top of its prey and using its foot the slimy part you see and then they suck it in and drill a hole in what ever it's eating and sucks the meat out of it.

Habitat:

Coastal shore line of the U.S, Now in Our school touch tank

Notes:

Very slimy and has a purple, pearl shell... A island lobsterman caught this and put it in our school touch tank.

Nice photo! You might mention that it was captured in the waters around Chebeague and is now in your school touch tank.
