Red-browed Finch

Description:

A very small, grey finch with yellow wings and a bright red eyebrow and beak.

Habitat:

Our backyard. Favours grassy areas along the east coast of Australia.

Notes:

These delightful little birds have been regular visitors to our garden over the last fortnight or so - they've been turning up ever since the weather turned really warm. They seem to like taking dips in our backyard pond.
