Highland forest with pine trees, oaks, and palm trees. Little ground cover.

Notes:

Web: about 2ft. in diameter and about 5ft. off the ground. Also known as the giant wood spider and the banana spider. Found this one at Highlands Hammock State Park in Sebring, FL. This one was along the Young Hammock Trail.
