Large, dark waterbird with long bill with extensible pouch and short legs Large, heavy body with webbed feet.
Found in warm coastal marine and estuarine environments. Rare inland. Breeds primarily on islands.
I'm not sure what type of gulls they are (juvenile herring gulls, perhaps?) but they were harassing the pelicans after they caught fish.

Thank you James! Yes, the gull was mad - kept trying to get some of the Pelican's fish!
