This is native to the united states ,from California to Montana.

This sight http://www.calflora.org/cgi-bin/species_... said that it can be found slightly beyond Californian boarders :) So I agree that this is Calorchtus elegans.

It's in the genus Calorchtus. Calorchtus elegans is the species sometimes called Cat's Ear. I know it's found in California, but I don't know if it's found in Oregon.
