Selle Francias

Description:

A French breed of horse. Selle Francias' are warmblood horses and are commonly used for jumpers or hunter jumpers. The specific horse in the pictures is a bay gelding named MiLord De SaFray. He is 17 hands high which is on the taller side for Selle Francias'. Selle Francias is French for "French saddle horse". They were originally crossbreed from thoroughbreds, Turks, Arabians, and various draft horses. This particular Selle's grandsire is Qudam De Revel who is the world's 3rd greatest stallion.

Habitat:

-lives in a barn - hay, grain, and grass for food - other horses
