Approximately 12 cm in length, this slug is reddish brown and sports a red-striped fringe on its foot and dark tentacles. The respiratory pore is located toward the front of the mantle. The color may vary up to black, but the fringe remains reddish.
Seen in a meadow/grasslands on slopes of Jura, on edges of coniferous forest, on some 900 m of altitude.
