The weaver among the Weavers One day I watched these Weaver ants in action. I am so astonished by the level of cooperation these guys show. The ant on the right was holding the partially held pair of leaves until the designated "Weaver" managed to show up and get into the business. The "Weaver" then meticulously started to glue the two leaves using the silk produced by the larva which you can see in the above picture... :-)
