Amazilia tzacatl

Description:

Kolibri, nesting and rising its children. The IBC (Internet Bird Collection) has identified the species as an Amazilia tzacatl (Rufous-tailed) Hummingbird. Nesting in Cartagena de Indias, Caribbean in the middle of our small garden. Surprisingly the Kolibri was not disturbed by our children who often take a bath only 3 meters away from the nest.

Caribbean. Within the city of Cartagena de Indias, Colombia
