Description:

Pale brown to cinnamon-capped mushroom with a flattened pileus (with a centralized depression). Gill surface is blush to cinnamon but highly stained turquoise. Gills are crowded and decurrent (going down stipe) with strands of white to white/pale pink latex present. White to soft pink spores are present on gills. Stipe is pale brown to cinnamon colored.

Habitat:

Growing under shrubs (in soil) at the edge of a pine/hardwood forest in Cherokee County, Alabama.
