Spizella pallida
An adult Clay-colored Sparrow during the breeding or mating season
Found in Fergus Falls at Delagoon Park while hiking on the bike trail. Area of the trail closest to DeLagoon Park's bike entrance or trail head (?)..
I found this male courting or "servicing" his lady love. I'm not good at whistling but tried to mimic her sound. He either got extremely curious or I did a fair job of it as he flew right down to this flowering bush next to the trail I was on and stayed for 3-4 minutes before his mate called his attention back to her.
