Don't think it's a knee or knob. I poked it and it pierced easily. If it's a seed pod like I hope/think I'll know when I try and germinate it. Thank you for your comment!
Cypress "Knobs" or "knees"?
Almost the size of a baseball. Very hard, almost like smooth wood with rough dimples. I found it near a cypress swamp that has many mixed trees around it!
Please add some description Tommy. size, hardness, type of location would be really helpful. Is it the same all over? Thanks.
