Last time I was there it was beautiful warm - one of the best places in India. The underside is ok. You can only understand life by looking at all sides and I have family in Chennai and Kodaikanal. If you get the chance could you please look for "all gold" ants. I saw them in Periyar but no photos. Also downhill near Thekaddy spice plantations there are "all copper" ants.
Hi Guys thank you, as you said hi Argybee, Kerala is a heave on the top but dont look at the underside you will hate it. so i pray may you not hate it but come to Kerala and feel the humid Heaven :)

What an amazing looking millipede. You have some fantastic wildlife in Kerala.
