Description:

Medium (2") frog of the Amazon in its day colours... at night the spots and stripes fade until only faint brown shows on the side, while the rest is a solid green.

Habitat:

Ox-bow lakes, marshes, and swamps of the Amazon basin. This one was in the flooded rainforest in the Tamshiyacu Reserve, Loreto, Peru.
