This gorgeous little creature was first recorded in 1960. It goes by the scientific name of Agrosoma placetis and it’s a type of Sharpshooter Leafhopper. The tiny insect looks like it’s made out of stained glass, with intricate patterns that include blocks of white, red, and navy blue
