A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Quercus virginiana
The branches are eruption like, they branch out into several other branches to make more branches. It is very tall, we estimate 35 third grade girls equal its height. It took four third graders to hug around the diameter of this large tree. This is a heritage tree. There were acorns on the ground from this tree. The leaves are small, green, and about 2 inches long. There was Spanish Moss in the branches.
