Unknown Spotting ( Tiny Green Plants )

Description:

It has been raining on and off, for over a week now. I walked over to the window, that was on the left of the front door, and I noticed a lot of tiny green plants, growing from the top of the front door mat. There were two parts, to each tiny green plant. The left side of this tiny green plant, was one sixteenth of an inch wide. The right side of this tiny green plant, was also, one sixteenth of an inch wide. This whole tiny green plant, was one eighth of an inch wide. The whole front door mat, was covered with these tiny green plants. These tiny green plants, must be growing on top of this front door mat, because of all the rain we've been having, for over a week now.
