Leptotes plinius
The Zebra Blue or Plumbago Blue (Leptotes plinius) is a species of blue butterfly found in India. It is small, about the size of a thumbnail. They seem quite common in this area at the moment.

And now I've rediscovered yours pamsai. The weather here now has been perfect for butterfly hatching and also some species are in mass migration mode. Yet to get any decent photos though. The ones migrating here at present are the Blue Tigers, stunning blue and black pattered medium sized butterflies. I admire your wonderful work and skill at capturing your specimens on camera.
Haha not sure about magic Mark! And yes, PI is bedlam in Jan. Was wondering if you went earlier, but I can understand that your poor old dog is keeping you home.
That's a magic number then Pam.
The heat, xmas/new year and a very dubious dog are keeping us near home for a few weeks. Besides, as you probably know, PI is bedlam in Jan.
Thank you Leuba. I hope you and Mark have a fantastic new year and find lots of unusual and rare spottings. Did you make it down to P.Island?
Thanks Kathleen and Luis...
Congratulations Pam !
