White Stork

Ciconia ciconia

Description:

Landing on an aircraft carrier is a breeze when you look at this. Perfect spot landing, no landing strip and then graciously taking a bow after the performance. Spotted on my way home from work this afternoon.

Habitat:

Migratory visitor to South Africa. By the end of the month they will be gone to warmer climes.
