Description:

Watched the bumble bee spend lots of time in our wild plant garden gathering pollen. Perennial Herb 12 to 36 inches tall stem usually smooth - purple tinge. Flowers Purple - pale inside. Long pointed sepals to 0.5 inch long - 4 ferile stamens and one bearded sterile stamen.

Habitat:

Rich woodland.
