Description:

Phyllidia varicosa is a species of sea slug, a dorid nudibranch, a shell-less marine gastropod mollusc in the family Phyllidiidae. About 6 cm in large, with numerous longitudinal tuberculate notal ridges, white with black stripes and yellow at top of the tubercles.

Habitat:

Spotted at Sebayur Besar Island, coral reef area, Indonesia, this species is widely distributed throughout the Indo-West Pacific Oceans including the central Pacific and the Red Sea.
