Unknown Spotting ( Brown Moth )

Description:

I saw a small, brown moth, resting on a pane of glass, to the right of the front door. This moth, was about, one fourth of an inch wide. The colors of this moth, was different shades of brown. I took one photo of this moth, while I was facing the brightness, from the afternoon sun. This photo, did not turn out the way that I wanted: ( showing a brown moth ), because I was facing the brightness, from the afternoon sun, when I took this photo.

Habitat:

This small, brown moth, was resting on a pane of glass, to the right of the front door.
