Tiphiidae
A handsome male flower wasp about 25mm body length.
Resting on a leaf of an exotic 'Dogwood' in a local nature reserve.
Yet to search for genus or species. Tiphiidae seems certain but this wasp might have been feeling a little lost on this plant as the flowers are compressed among four 'false' bracts.
