It is a Fowler's Toad, Anaxyrus fowleri. The Southern Toad does not occur in Tennessee.
Thanks Neil & marcus! I've held off updating the ID because to be honest they all look so alike to me that I was hoping for a consensus from the experts first!
Looks like an American Toad to me. But, I'd check with TN herp master LisaPowers for her opinion! I struggled with amphibian identification during my herp class! :)
I didn't use my macro lens on this guy Satyen but I did manage to zoom in close!
