Question Mark Butterfly

Polygonia interrogationis

Description:

This is a battered Question Mark. The unique mark on its underwing is still visible. It certainly no longer has the deep velvety dark on its hind wings.

Habitat:

They live in wooded areas and city parks, or generally in areas which feature trees and free spaces.

Notes:

This one is feeding all alone on a small Buddelia bloom at the back of the garden.
