A blue subspecies ? Very nice !!
Malachite is Siproeta stelenes biplagiata. Philaethria dido is very similar, however, it is a Heliconiinae and not found in Costa Rica. There is would be Philaethria diatonica:http://www.flickr.com/photos/dominikhofe...
