Also known as Red Algae, Red Seaweed, Dragon's Tongue, Lettuce Algae, Leaf Algae and Flame Algae. They feed on plankton, and grow to a length of about 35cm.
Found on coral and rocky reefs in small bunches or in large groves attached to rocks in intertidal zones. Widespread in the Indo-Pacific region.
