Blue-winged warbler

Vermivora cyanoptera

Description:

This bird is characterized by a yellow body, blue-gray wings with two white wing bars and a black line through the eye. It was flitting about quite a bit in the trees so a good shot was not easy; however, it was my first spotting of this species so I was happy nonetheless.

Habitat:

Mason Farm Biological Reserve
