Description:

About 5cm from head to the wingtips. Dark brown/black cryptic colouration with some faint lighter markings on the forewings and a tiny red spot at the base; thorax is covered in black hair with two small yellow spots on each side.

Habitat:

Probably attracted to lights at night and stayed until morning. In San Pedro La Laguna, on the shore of Lake Atitlán.
