Description:

Brown wings with yellow spots, some of them filled concentric circles of black and blue.

Habitat:

Widespread and common, mainly woodland, species of Eurasia and North Africa. It prefers shadowy and moist environment of low density forests. Here, found on edges of our beautiful Bagasse forest (deciduous forest, predominantly oak) on France-Switzerland border, in a valley of lake Geneva, just in between Jura and Alps mountains ranges.
