Funnel Web Spider

Description:

These spiders are medium to large in size, with body lengths ranging from 1 to 5 cm (0.5 to 2 in). The body is typically three times longer than it is wide. They are darkly colored, ranging from black to brown, with a glossy carapace covering the front part of the body.

Habitat:

Spotted on a walk in Mosi oa Tunya Park (Livingstone). Mainly a grassy area and there were many funnel webs scattered in the bushes
