Ant Nest

Description:

A freshly made ant nest by joining three chickoo leaves .The leaves are joined together with wet mud ,cow dung used as manure for the trees and a sticky web like material produced by the ants. This was a different nest that i have spotted in our area from the ones uploaded earlier. The ants were different too ,definitely not weaver ants as they were reddish as compared to the orange weaver ants. There is a single opening to the nest as seen i the 2nd pic and the rest is sealed from all sides. On slight disturbance of the nest a big group of them came rushing out of the nest as seen in pic 3.
