Hickory Tussock Moth

Lophocampa caryae

Description:

This moth came and landed on the bay window at around 2 am. I had the porch lights on. It's a relatively small moth, maybe 1.5 inchest from tip of head to tip of wing. http://www.butterfliesandmoths.org/speci...

I am hoping that I will find cats soon, I have not seen very many caterpillars as of yet, am hoping in the next week or two. Am going to add separations to some of my empty fish tanks and put them in there and raise some butterflies and moths this year.
